8-8-08 @ 8 p.m. Lets Make It a Global Day of Solidarity

A national day of solidarity will be happening on August, 8th 2008.

Any help is appreciated. Spread the word. Pay it forward. Peace to you and yours.

On 8/8/08 every man, woman and child in the private sector

From the poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich will stand in solidarity

This is not a day of pushing any agenda, nor a day of fear

On this day we let go

It is the day we get out of…
Our cars
Our busses
Our planes and trains

It is the day we…
Flee our cubicles
Our assembly lines
Our living quarters
Our businesses

The day we put our opinions aside and be heard

It is the day we remind those who may have forgotten…

This show is ONE in us

It is a day of nothing for nothing‘s sake

And out of nothing, something WILL arise

Something too often forgotten in life and only seen in the movies for our times

You will not know that something until August 8th

It won’t be spoken with rhetoric, it won’t be thought of
It WILL be expressed

People worlds apart will come together

People inside will soak in whatever the weather brings out doors

If you’re bed ridden ask to be taken outside and your caretakers will accommodate you

Why?

Whatever your time zone is, at precisely 8:00 p.m on August 8th, 2008 we will yell at the top of our lungs Until we can yell no more!!

And wait for the sound of the world
